K1 and K2 follow the national preschool curriculum (KSPK), taught through projects, play and lots of conversation rather than worksheets alone.
By the end of K2, children read and write simple sentences in English and Bahasa Malaysia, recognise everyday Mandarin characters, and are comfortable with numbers to 100. Just as importantly, they can listen, take turns, solve small problems and manage their own belongings.
Our K2 Year 1 readiness programme includes visits to nearby primary schools, practice with a school-style timetable and a parent session on choosing and preparing for primary school.
